Blackjack Complete Fork:

MX-Tech Suspension has designed, built and refined the most advanced complete forks on the market. These forks are the lightest available in their respective class and drop a pound and close to two pounds of weight in most cases from the total weight of the bike.

The custom 49mm upper tubes are perfect for optimal performance as they are both lighter in weight and retain the best flex characteristics. The fully genuine Kashima coated upper tubes continue to lead the industry in a low friction coating. The lower tubes are treated with Industrial diamondized hard coatings, we use this process because it is also an excellent low friction option, but they also don’t flake off or wear out over time.

Either the Blackjack or Raven cartridge system are paired with these forks based on the style of riding.

The billet lugs have no equal in terms of aesthetics and design. The weight savings are meaningful as they save on unsprung mass. The profile is flush with the fork tube and in line with the axle so the forks actually miss catching ruts when compared to an OEM lug.

Both the complete 49mm complete fork package as well as the drop in cartridge can help riders of all skill levels for nearly every full size off-road bike. Whether the goal is to find more comfort or better race results the Blackjack is the premiere solution.

 All of our products are built to perform consistently to ensure both trust and safety. The Blackjack is ultimately tested at the races. The design process looks at optimization over time and relies on both rider and suspension tuner feedback. New parts are modeled in the computer - sometimes to be lighter or configured for a new design. Digital stress testing and the best machining standards possible are also reviewed. The parts are dynode in house on a regular basis of continued research and development. Dyno testing also serves to chart the various baseline settings specific to the type of riding and rider preference. The ongoing effort and commitment to research and development means our products are reliable, making it a product you can trust – especially between service intervals where the forks deliver a consistent feel.

• Damping component: Achieves better pressure balance over 3 areas. Ability to balance the pressure balance makes the cartridge is more tunable.

The primary goal of suspension is to support the chassis for consistent steering geometry and more predictable riding. When the bike is balanced optimally, it offers a better riding experience. Pressure balance promotes consistent ride quality and feel.

This is why the the Blackjack system uses a 12.5 mm cartridge rod. This size is arguably the optimal workload ratio with a 25 mm mid valve. This is the perfect combination.

The Blackjack system also uses a 39 mm IC piston. This is the largest piston you can effectively fit in a 48mm fork. This translates to the piston having a lower ratio and relatively low movement for the cartridge rod size.\

TECHNICAL FEATURES:

Internal Huck Valve speed sensitive bottoming control

Sealed 25mm cartridge with 39mm spring charged ICS piston (2.0, 2.2, 2.5 kg/mm rates available)

Closed cartridge design uses an IC spring and piston to maintain cartridge pressure

Sealed cartridge keeps internal valving separated from outer chamber oil. This allows valving to stay clean and free of contaminants, which maintains consistent operation over longer periods of use

Closed cartridge utilizes a shim-tuned spring perch that creates a secondary viscous damping Spring perch secondary damping is speed and position sensitive

Compound leaf spring mid-valve design with 3 bending surfaces

Internal spring preload adjustment uses circlip design, making it quick and easy

Compression adjuster is retained by a circlip (allows reposition of adjuster after installation

Available as a drop in fork for a majority of bikes

External compression and rebound adjusters use supplied allen tool
