Method #1 order a MX-TECH shipping container.
The MX-TECH shipping container is a quick, reusable carton complete with inserts that allows you pack your suspension safely, and with no additional packing. You simply remove your hardware (fork guards, axle bolts etc) and place the fork tubes in the box axle lugs first. Then place your shock in the center box, include your complete MX-TECH rider information sheet with all the important information close flaps and tape. Next insert the shock box inside the 2 fork legs and then place the top wedge in place and lastly close flaps and tap. You’re done in less than 5 minutes and worry free as the design complies with UPS requirements.

Method #2 using a gun case.
Make sure your case is big enough and secure enough to hold the suspension during the shipping process. Place foam wrap or cardboard between the fork legs and shock to prevent contact with each other during shipping. Insert your complete MX-TECH rider information sheet close the case and ship. We recommend additional taping and or zip ties holding the case closed.
Method #3 arranging your own shipping container.
Find a sturdy cardboard box. Wrap your components in bubble wrap or crushed news paper. Place the components in the box and then fill with additional peanuts, crushed paper or bubble wrap. It’s very important that everything is tightly packed so the components cannot shift and damage each other in the shipping process. Place your MX-TECH rider information sheet on the outside of the box in a packing slip.

Carrier:
We recommend UPS shipping services although you can use others such as DHL, FedEx or US Postal service. We will return your components to you using UPS unless otherwise specified. Please note that the use of other shipping services may delay your shipment up to 5 business days.
Insurance:
We recommend that you insure your forks and shocks for $2500. Shocks alone $500-$1000 and forks alone $2000. Insurance is inexpensive and worth the few extra dollars.
MX-TECH shipping container:
Please do not modify the MX-TECH carton. Everything you need is included, and will fit if you follow the instructions. If you have a problem just give us a call we will help you sort it out, if you send your suspension to us with a modified carton, we will bill you for a new one when we return your suspension to you. |
