MXT 54mm Tank System (T2) for WP XPLOR PDS Shocks and 85-100cc minis 

The new generation of WP PDS shocks come with a plastic, free piston and very low oil volumes. These factors make the shock prone to fading and poor heat related performance. 

The MXT Tank reservoir is engineered to effectively increase performance. Now with more tuning options, including the precise placement of the reservoir piston, the Tank is even easier to service with a higher standard of quality. The Tank System features a 2mm larger piston, reducing both temperature change in the shock and the impact on rod charge. This Tank also had an improved internal surface finish that yields the lowest friction available.

Performance: The Tank features a 2mm larger diameter membrane free piston with low friction finishing. The larger diameter improves the underlying physics thereby reducing temperature change in the shock performance. The membrane free piston offers the comfort and zero friction characteristics of a bladder but keeps nitrogen separate from shock oil unlike a bladder – keeping the oil from premature wear like oxidation and cavitation. Accurate tuning and easier service. Fits 2015 FE KTM’s and Husqvarna models with 60mm OEM reservoir.

Tuning options: The piston features a standard Ohlins positioning nipple. This allows the shock piston to be precisely placed and measured, giving tuners the option to control the effective volume change on the nitrogen gas side for the best in consistent builds.

Service: Designed for easier servicethe end cap can be removed via a circlip design, allowing the piston to be removed during routine service without removing the cylinder. Easily filled using a needle. This makes the design easy, compact, and 100% reliable. As a result, service intervals are less costly and are recommended at 30 hours.

Quality: MXT makes high quality parts. The parts are machined from aluminum and anodized.

Fitment: 2017-2018 WP PDS shocks.
